The company has a strong global presence in over 38 countries with sales, distribution and repair facilities in Europe and Asia.

The leadership team is comprised of industry veterans from the video signal processing technology, electronic displays, and medical devices with an average of more than fifteen years of experience.

  • Karim Khadr
    President & General Manager

Mr. Karim Khadr was appointed President and General Manager at NDS Surgical Imaging in November 2014. Previously, he served as Senior Vice President of NDSsi’s Surgical Business Unit worldwide. He has over twenty years of general management, executive marketing, business development and sales leadership experience in the medical & diagnostic industry, primarily in minimally invasive settings. Prior to joining NDSsi, Mr. Khadr served as Worldwide Vice President, Global Strategic Marketing at Lifescan, Inc. Before this, he held senior management positions of increasing responsibility with the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, including VP & GM, Sales & Marketing, DePuy and Director of Marketing, Global Product Development, Ethicon Endo-Surgery. Mr. Khadr has  lived and worked in global regions, including Europe, the Middle East, US and Canada. He holds a BS and an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University.

 

 

  • Dave Cantin
    Vice President, Global Sales

Mr. Dave Cantin joined NDS Surgical Imaging in 2015 and oversees the worldwide sales organization for all product divisions. He has over twenty years of commercial leadership experience in the medical device industry. Prior to joining NDSsi, Mr. Cantin held executive sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility at Edwards Lifesciences, and the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, including Ethicon Endo-Surgery and Ethicon Women’s Health and Urology. He holds an MBA from Xavier University and a BS, Business Administration from Bryant University.

 

  • Greg Ruebusch
    Vice President, Global Operations

Mr. Greg Ruebusch joined NDS Surgical Imaging in 2016, with responsibility for worldwide operations, manufacturing and supply chain management. He brings over twenty years of executive management and leadership expertise in developing best-in-class manufacturing, logistics, quality, and procurement systems on a global scale. Prior to joining NDS, Mr. Ruebusch held executive management positions at leading global technology companies, including Vice President of Operations at NovaTorque, Inc., Director of Global Sourcing at Raytheon, and Executive Vice President of Global Operations at Symmetricom. Before this, he served as Director of Global Operations at Tyco Electronics, with worldwide operational responsibility for touch-screen monitors for the medical and industrial markets. Mr. Ruebusch holds a BS and an MBA from the University of Santa Clara, and is the author of two patents.

 

  • Rainer Scholl
    Vice President, Engineering

Mr. Rainer Scholl joined NDS Surgical Imaging in 2015, with responsibility for all phases of product development, hardware and software engineering, as well as project management. He has over twenty years of engineering and management expertise, with a focus on imaging systems including MRI and Ultrasound. Prior to NDSsi, Mr. Scholl held senior engineering management positions of increasing responsibility at Siemens Healthcare. Working in both Germany and the USA, he has successfully managed large and globally distributed software engineering teams with a strong focus on quality and platform development. Mr. Scholl studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in Germany.

  • Darko Spoljaric
    Vice President, Global Marketing

Mr. Darko Spoljaric joined NDS Surgical Imaging in 2015, overseeing all product lines worldwide including strategic marketing, product management, and business development. He brings over twenty years of leadership expertise in the areas of integrated OR systems design and medical endoscopy technologies, as well as design and development of flat screen displays and imaging systems. Prior to joining NDSsi, Mr. Spoljaric held Vice President positions with ConMed Integrated Systems as well as Val Med Corporation, and was Senior Marketing Manager of New Product Introductions at Philips Healthcare, Imaging Systems. An accomplished innovator and national speaker on OR integration technologies, Mr. Spoljaric holds an MBA from the University of Washington and a BA from Marylhurst University.

  • Alex Qu
    Area Manager, Asia-Pacific

Mr. Alex Qu joined NDS Surgical Imaging in 2008 to run the Company’s Asia-Pacific operations. He has over fifteen years of imaging technology expertise in the APAC region. Prior to NDSsi, Mr. Qu was Area Sales Manager at Planar Inc., Shanghai, where he was in charge of marketing and sales for the Dome product line. Before this, he held Asia-based management positions as China Sales Manager at Whitney International, and Regional Sales Manager at Kodak (China) Ltd. Mr. Qu holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Hefei University of Technology.
