NDS Surgical Imaging launches DomeAccess software, enabling remote web-based radiology systems management from anywhere in the world

San Jose, CA, July 31, 2013 — NDS Surgical Imaging (NDSsi) today announced the release of its new DomeAccess remote PACS systems management software tool. DomeAccess software allows users to manage their Dome® diagnostic display workstations from anywhere in the world.

Accessible through any standard web browser, the new software provides a secure portal into the Dome Dashboard server installed in the hospital enterprise. Dome Dashboard collects and summarizes data into up-to-the-minute reports including display conformance, asset management, and operational performance status. Display parameters can be adjusted remotely, and performance alerts can be distributed via email, pager or cell phone.

“The DomeAccess software tool brings a new level of convenience, security, and confidence to today’s global imaging industry,” said Fred Parks, Chief Executive Officer of NDSsi. “PACS administrators and radiology professionals now have complete freedom of movement, knowing they can securely access and manage their display systems remotely, with the same level of control they would have within the facility.”

DomeAccess software features an intuitive web user interface, cloud data backup service via amazon.com, and several licensing options.
